The main alloying elements of aluminum rods are magnesium and silicon, and the Mg2Si phase is formed. Sometimes a small amount of copper or zinc is added to increase the strength of the alloy without significantly reducing its corrosion resistance. There is also a small amount of copper in conductive materials to offset the adverse effects of titanium and iron on conductivity. The metal elements contained in the rods are different, and aluminum rods can be roughly divided into 8 categories (1000-8000 series)
Standard for aluminum rod
Comparison of Chinese and foreign implementation standards for aluminum rods.
China: GB/T 3191-2010 Aluminum and Aluminum Alloy Extruded Bars Implementation Standard.
American Standard: ASTM B221-2014 Aluminum and aluminum alloy extruded rods, rods, wires, standard specifications.
German standard: DIN EN 755-2/DIN EN 755-7-2008 specifications for extruded bars, tubes and profiles.
Japanese standard: JIS H4040-2006 implementation specification for aluminum and aluminum alloy rods, bars and wires.
Aluminum rods use
